About Us

Bean Traders was created from our love of coffee and love of the culture we saw it spawn (again) in the early 90's.  The first Bean Traders opened September 1, 2000 in the Homestead Mkt. From Barista competitions (national, local and in-store) to interesting fodder over a shot of espresso, we enjoy coffee and enjoy the different aspects of being in that ever evolving coffee culture. We wanted to

embrace that culture while keeping in mind the most important aspect.... TASTE.

All of the coffees roasted for ALL Bean Traders locations, wholesale customers, and internet sales are roasted by David Chapman our Master Roaster.  He only chooses the highest quality bean; and roasts only to fill current orders, ensuring a fresh bean or beverage every time!  We are also trained Baristi who take the our craft seriously and use only the best ingredients in our beverages.  We hope you enjoy your Bean Traders experience either in one of our shops with your custom made beverage or in the comfort of your home with your BT beans.   Remember.... drink some bean!
